I'm a watercolour artist, tutor and passionate believer that everyone can learn to paint.

I've been teaching watercolour for over 35 years, helping beginners and improving artists develop their skills, build confidence and discover the joy of painting.
My approach is simple: clear, step-by-step lessons that make watercolour easier to understand and more enjoyable.

A life long love of watercolour
My love of art began in London, where I was born and studied art in southwest London.
For over 30 years, I've taught watercolour to adults, helping them develop their skills, overcome challenges and discover the joy of painting.
Today, I share my lessons with artists around the world through my online tutorials. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone grow in confidence and discover what they can achieve with a brush and a little encouragement.

I keep my teaching clear and down-to-earth, with a focus on real techniques and practical tips that you can use straight away. My aim is to take the overwhelm out of watercolour and help you enjoy the process, whatever your skill level.

Mistakes are part of learning. I'll help you understand your materials, experiment with techniques and become more comfortable with your own painting.
